Introduction
Schutzhund protection is both easy and most challenging.
Easy because the dog is highly driven and sending the dog to bite is not
difficult. Challenging in the sense that to achieve firm good grip, clean ‘out’
and absolute control can be very frustrating.
A good foundation in bite development is crucial. After that, a smooth
progression from prey-oriented drive to fight/defense drive training with good
Helper work is important.
This seminar is structured towards achieving these goals.
Participants will be taught the basics of achieving good, calm grip and a clean,
conflict-free ‘out’ and prey drive development, which is the foundation to fight
drive.
This is an intensive, full-time 3-day course and is limited to a maximum of 20
participating dogs.
